Deborah James brings more than 25 years of diverse experience to Leading Edge Resumes & Career Services. As world renowned Certified Professional Resume Writer and Certified Career Management Coach, Deborah has teamed with more than a 1,800 clients worldwide, providing them with leading-edge career marketing tools and strategies.

Equipped with a degree in accounting, Deborah launched her first career working for the US Government. Twelve years later, she entered the field of public education. Deborah left education to turn her energy to working with mid- to executive-level clients, helping them to reach their dreams and become the architect of their lives.

Highly respected as one of country’s top résumé writers, Deborah maintains professional memberships in the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches, Professional Resume Writers and Research Association, the National Resume Writers Association and Career Masters Institute where she is a charter member. Deborah was one of five writers nominated for the 2003 TORI Award (Toast of the Résumé Industry) in the Best Executive Résumé category.

Deborah also serves as a resume consultant and executive resume writer for ExecuNet where she works with senior-level executives around the world. Additionally, Deb is the Senior Marketing Consultant for Career Beginnings, Inc.

Over the past three years, Deborah has published more than a dozen résumés and cover letters in industry leading publications. She is a member of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network and serves on the Career Services Board at Davis Community College in Toledo. Deborah facilitates a number of workshops each year and volunteers at Read for Literacy, helping individuals to get back into the workforce.
